PISAC, PERU

A TOWN IN THE SACRED
VALLEY OF THE INKCAS

Pisac is a town located in the district of Calca in Peru.

It is divided into two zones: the old one, located in the upper part of the mountain, is an Inka archaeological site; in the lower part of the Valley there is the current town of the same name where the Intercultural Convergence of Women 2019 will take place.

The venue of the event will be the Hotel Royal Inka Pisac, which has all the facilities that we require for the activities of our meeting. You can stay at this hotel if you book with time, or also at some other lodging in the town.

To get to Pisac, you must take a public transport from the center of Cusco.

  • Public bus: The bus station to Pisac is located at Tullumayo Avenue 207, corner of Garcilaso de la Vega Avenue (3 blocks from Coricancha).
  • Public van: It is a means of transport much faster than the bus and very cheap. They leave Puputi Street, near the avenue of Culture.
  • Taxi: It is the fastest means of transport since you can take it anywhere in Cusco without having to go to the bus station.

AEREAL RUTE TO ARRVIE

For the event you should transport yourself from your country of origin to the city of Lima, capital of Peru, where the Jorge Chávez International Airport is located.

Later, from Lima you have to take another flight to the city of Cusco. The trip on the bus can take up to 20 hours, so we recommend a direct flight that takes an hour and  half.

National airlines that depart from Lima to Cusco are: Peruvian airlines, Sky Airlines, Star Peru; Avianca, Viva air and Latam Airlines.
